01 - Combine diced tomatoes, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and black pepper in a medium bowl. Mix thoroughly and set aside to allow flavors to meld.

03 - Add ground beef to the skillet. Cook and break apart with a spatula until browned, approximately 5–7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
04 - Stir in tomato paste, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, black pepper, and cayenne. Mix well to coat the meat evenly with spices.
05 - Pour in water and stir. Let simmer for 2–3 minutes until the mixture is juicy but not watery. Adjust seasoning to taste if needed.
06 - Heat tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until soft and pliable.
07 - Spoon seasoned beef into each tortilla. Top with shredded cheese, lettuce, a generous spoonful of pico de gallo, and avocado slices. Serve with lime wedges.
